Pumpkin Pork Stew from the Burma Superstar cookbook. It’s one of our go-to places in San Francisco, a little restaurant on Clement Street that never fails to put out unique and delicious meals. Our home cooked version wasn’t so bad either, although the coconut rice recipe didn’t work at all. Luckily we had some brown rice already prepared, so we were covered. The bok choi is from our garden.

A nice ending to a very busy day. We took down the outdoor lights and ornaments, something that always makes me a little sad, but it’s supposed to storm hard for the next couple days so it seemed like a good idea to get it done. Then there were three loads of laundry to be hung out, and wood to be brought in. A very domestic day, and now I feel Prepared. And tired.
