Friends

It rained pretty heavily last night, with enough clearing this morning to accommodate a walk on the cliffs. A fair number of people and dogs were out there getting some air before things changed again, but the guys with the pop-ups for the surfing event had to give up and pack everything into their trucks, struggling against the wind and the foam blowing up from the ocean. The Extra shows the upheaval in the heavens and the sea.


I used the dark day to take down the indoor Christmas decorations. I already miss the warm lights and the hefty presence of the tree; left to its own devices, the living room looks pretty bleak.
