Orions Belt at 38,000 feet high

Our British Airways flight from Heathrow, London to Cape Town took off on time about 9.30pm. With a flight time of over 11 hours, I watched the new film out Dunkirk whilst sipping double whiskies and coke/ice served by a Welsh flight attendant Thomas who gave us preferential treatment due to us being Welsh!  In the early hours of the morning I woke up to see stars over the wing.

The cabin lights were dimmed, but I needed to deflect all reflections and by using a blanekt over my head pressed up against the wall of the plane and a high ISO I took a few photo's and a couple came out sharp. In the blipfoto (thumbnail) you can see Orions Belt.. A very difficult photo to take due to the technical problems.

After a good flight we collected our car that we've got for four weeks and driving to our hotel was easy wnoigh with the Sat Nav we have brought with us. Our apartment is superb. Very spacious with stunning views front and back.
