Given The Bird

It's been on the local news yesterday of a Waxwing bird on a Rowan tree in the car park of The Range, Newport Road, Cardiff. I got there this afternoon and speaking to the twitchers waiting patiently it had not been seen today.

I sat in the car waiting, watching the last of the sun as it lowered on the horizon for sunset. I had the camera focussed at the sun wanting to catch a bird flying past when one spread it's wing in a perfect pose. Not long afterwards my phone rang with a call out. I didn't get what I wanted but did get a consolation of the blipfoto.
