Frost

Although this was a lunchtime walk there were several places where the ice remained from the night before. At around minus 3 first thing, by lunch it was around 8 degrees higher, but had had little impact on the sheltered corners out of reach of the sun's fingers. This blip is from the walk around the church in the village, some shots which were considered was the ice crystals on the grass and those forming on the moss. In the end the leaves were chosen as the crystals seemed clearer.

Later, on a trip to town I discovered that coffee, which seemed to upset my digestive system, is fine if made with soya, or almond milk, anything in fact apart from cow's milk. A nice coffee, sandwich and teacake on what is actually the 40th anniversary of a first date!
