More fallen pink Bauhinia flowers. And offering a bit of protection from the slippery tiles in the Plaza.

Ben is leaving today. He had a lot on his agenda today and got home about an hour before we were to leave for the airport. Luckily the frequency of buses to the airport is very good here so we just got the next one. A little stressful though ... just meant we didn’t get to have dinner with him at Crystal Jade.

Martin and I are both feeling sad at this next phase of life, when the kids start leaving. He’s been talking about it all evening. This letting go business is really hard, but necessary. They’ll always have a home, and I think they know how we feel. Jon certainly listened as we pondered. Thankfully we have him still for a few more days.
