Orchid buds . . . .

. . . . but will they be pink?
The flower spike was only about eight inches when I bought it back in August but is now over 2 ft., and I have no idea what colour the flowers will be! I've never grown orchids before so would be grateful for any care hints.
Struggling to get a pink blip today but you might notice the pot is on a pink cloth ;)
