Me And My Shadow

Swee'pea again! And me! On our walk this morning. Which was cold. Mostly cold because it was windy along with being about 38 ℉. Swee'pea is very much my shadow - generally speaking wherever I am in the house, that's where she is. In this photo she isn't on her leash because I unhook her when we get back to the hayfield and she just follows along at my heels. I suspect she could do the entire walk unattached, but I wouldn't want to risk it. Bugsy, meanwhile, is attached to The Husband by a leash and stays that way. Don't tell him I unhook Bugsy too when I walk with them both by myself. And, as it happens, Bugsy is The Husband's shadow.
