The Green Ball

And the Magician said to the little dog "When the green ball appears in the window that will be the signal to leave by the back door and don't look back as you go forth on your quest!"

The little dog was so tired and it was so warm and nice in the last shaft of warm sunlight that he went back to sleep and missed the signal!

The Magician wasn't happy as his plans were ruined so he set off to find a more co-operative little dog!

It was another extreme day and it hit 38c ugh!! There was a big fire in the hills and it was windy which is never a good combination. The rain from the cyclone should hit us later tonight which will help the firefighters. There are a couple of shots of the smoke plume from different times in extra's and one of the sunset which was red hot hot hot and there was only that strip of light as the rest of the sky was thick with smoke!!
