Museums in Munich

Today we have again had a lovely day with Charlotte and Rory, walking around Munich, snacking in cafes and mooching around museums. We got to the centre in time for the noon chiming of the Glockenspiel im Rathausturm, which goes on quite a while with a carillion of forty three bells, then we nipped into something called the museum of the five continents (I think) where this splendid display of Burmese Buddhist statuary - the largest outside Asia apparently - captured our imaginations. Sadly, the kids have to go back to work at the university tomorrow and even though we don’t have to (heh) we will be home tomorrow too.
