Sgwarnog: In the Field

Magic

A typical grey and gloomy January day, but you never what magic you may encounter unless you venture out.

I'd wandered over to the far side of the moor, via Sconce Lane, Weecher and Birch Close. Turning west, the sky started to get interesting so I had a fine display of crepuscular rays over Airedale as I skirted the Glovershaw pasture and climbed up to Dobrudden.

It was a pretty quiet day for bird life, although I did bump into a Nuthatch at Sconce Lane and a Kestrel  at Glovershaw.

Today's magic is dedicated to Auntie Viv, my Dad's eldest sister, who passed this morning after a short illness.
