DEALING WITH LIFE'S HARDSHIP

Her name is Nora and she lives in Bourj el-Barajneh refugee camp with her husband and two children. She is the sole provider for the family. They are all suffering from a blood disease.

She works as a cleaner at the Palestinian Red Crescent, but this doesn't give enough money. She collects wires to sell the copper. Today is Friday, and they have food until Monday. Then she doesn't know.

UNRWA (UN help organization for Palestinians) consider the family as extreme poor. Therefore they get 40 US dollar each third month and 2 kilo of rice. Needless to say, that is really nothing and must feel as just as a symbolic gesture.

Life is hard. Palestinian children are born into this distress and are stuck. Will it go even 64 more years before they can return to their home in Palestine?
