Beating the Easterly .....

..... again!
We seem to have had months of beastly easterlies.
M. wanted to measure the distance a friend would have to swim, training around the boats moored in Cass Bay. So phone app MapMyTracks was turned on, and off we set. It was 2.8kms for her to swim around all those boats! I was amazed that it was as far as that.
The yacht in the WideAngleWednesday image was moored right at the beginning of the 'course'.
We then paddled down to Shaggers Beach (don't ask), stopping short of Maori Gardens because of the wind&waves. It was fairly adventurous but fun all the same. I've put an image into Extras, showing the wave action, but it seems to have flattened the sea out!
A good time on the water.
