Now, as I see it......

Well, I'll go to the foot of our stairs.....

We stole this idea from friends of ours; they love going to the theatre and always try to get a poster for whatever play or musical they have seen and put it on their staircase. We started doing the same with our choice being mainly for Blues and Jazz concerts we had been to, although there is the odd show displayed as well. There's one for a father of Blues who is sadly no longer with us, one which is personally autographed by an actor and director who is rather out of favour nowadays due to his (alleged) actions, and my favourite in the centre is an atmospheric shot of Paolo Conte, an elderly and fairly gruff Italian jazz singer. Bottom right is a poster from the 'Haight-Ashbury' Street Fair in San Francisco that we attended only a short time before 9/11. As a bit of an ex-hippy from the 60's it was great going to the place where it all started, and seeing some of the characters that still inhabit the area.

Can you tell it got to Blip-time and I didn't have a shot in the camera?
