Liane Carroll

One of the great things about Hastings is, you can just stroll round, and drop into various bars and see top quality music. None more so than the wonderful Liane. She's played at many eminent venues up and down the land as well as world wide. She's won the BBC Jazz vocalist of the year and countless other awards. And yet, you can amble down to Hastings Old Town on a Wednesday night and watch her play in the intimate atmosphere of a small bar, Porter's, in this case. She's a real star, incredibly pleasant and approachable. What a treat. Highly recommended.
