Approaching dawn

Pretty dull, but productive day, here in Helsinki. Mr A popped out onto the landing for some photos earlier, and I copied him. And here I am with my blip, which bears some similarities to his.

Laundry was done, I popped out to the gym and the supermarket, and Mr A has been tending some mega document transfers on his laptop all day. Outdoors, we have the aftermath of some snowfall, which means a lot of wetness and brownness here in Helsinki. Not like snow in Lapland at all. Entirely different stuff.

We've been thinking about travelling (just had nearly a month of it), and not travelling, and I thought of the Stevenson quote: "Little do ye know your own blessedness; for to travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive, and the true success is to labour."

I'm not sure about that. I think perhaps sometimes the most important thing is the "not travelling". I'm ready for that now.
