Grasses & Birch IR

This morning I decided to do some infra-red photography and thought Hailes Castle might prove a suitable venue. As I drove down the narrow country lane to the castle I noticed these grasses and silver birch looking rather dramatic against a cloudy sky with patches of blue which I knew wold translate well to infra-red. I continued to the castle and took a number of shots there but felt it was worth stopping off at the grasses on the way back and this has become my man blip. The hill in the distance is Traprain Law. I have included an extra of the castle. The ground in front of the castle was in fact snow covered so the whiteness was not a product of the infra-red technique.
