These boots are made for walking .....

I bought these boots eight years ago and they are just great when the snow is lying thick on the ground.

Not quite so sunny this morning but it wasn't till later in the afternoon that the blizzarding snow returned. The main roads are quite clear but the side roads and pavements are treacherous. The council used to grit the pavements but that seems to be a thing of the past.
