Hen Pheasant.

Still snow on the ground and this seems to have brought the birds back in force.  Before she set off for town Clickychick looked out of the window and seeing the cock pheasant said "I wonder where the Ladies are we haven't seen them for a while".  She wouldn't have got as far as town before I saw two of them trotting across the grass towards the feeding station.

Having spent most of the day chasing regulations, paperwork and emails for a meeting this evening the only shots I took were birds from the window.  As the hen pheasants have been a comparative rarity this winter I decided on this shot.
