Oxleas Wood

We got to visit the most picturesque (?)  bits of the ancient Oxleas Wood during the orienteering today. Despite being in the London Borough of Greenwich this forest dates back 8000 years. Oxleas means pasture for oxen in Saxon but the only animals seen today were dogs and squirrels. Dull, rainy and misty all day but had to get out of the house for more potential buyers to look round.  One lot made an offer. Maybe we are on the move again after all.
