Friday again

This morning we had the Property Inspector from our factors coming at 8:30 am! The woman seemed sensible compared to the lady I was dealing with on email.
We also got the first cost estimate in to get the damage to our ceiling, the floor and the walls sorted. 4,500 bucks!!!
Ceiling repair, wall repair, changing floorboards, sand the whole room, paint new etc ... it's major work to get the room into shape again.
I really hope that the factors will support by holding the roof company liable, who was on the roof before christmas and did not report the damaged tile right away - or even replace it. It was a job of 15 minutes to be repaired! And it would have avoided so much hassle, damage and annoyance.
I went out between calls to get some stuff from Lidl for my cooking plans. I am trying to empty the freezer a bit and took stuff out that needs cooking.
When I was back another tradesman cam to visit the damage. He is a plasterer and came with a specialist for cornicing. They will give us a cost estimate soon I believe. But this will be only for the ceiling. I would prefer having all done at once.
It was snowing again in the afternoon and Neil left work early.
When he arrived I had not yet started cooking.
Being lazy and up for a sinful meal, we decided to go out to Paesano and have a pizza! But I still started the oxtail stew and put it in the oven at low temperature.
Paesano was full as always and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The pizza was awesome. I just love the Napoletana Pizza style. We had a bottle of wine with it and had a good time. A lovely end of the working week.

Another Glasgow Urban blip. One of the 2 photos I took when I walked to Lidl. I had not noticed the Café before. Quite funky with the green on black.
It's more a traditional breakfast style place. Apparently they know how to poach eggs I learnt from trip advisor. An art I have not managed to succeed in yet.
