Clearing

Its been wet for most the day but in the late hours of the afternoon we could see the weather clearing from the south and the sun set as a strip of pink on the hazy horizon.  Since moving to our new home, we've been enjoying our walks next to the sea and today was no exception.  We walked in the gloaming, watching the lights in the harbour come on - flashing to guide the navigable route down the channel.  The tide was receding and in the fading light we could see flocks of geese and ducks circling through the air before landing on the newly emerging mud flats for a chance to feed before darkness.
