At the beach

One thing I find about holidays and going to places you never really get to, is the photo opportunities that arise.

We come away in the caravan for my last few days of being on holiday. It's back to work next week - hard to believe that I've had the last 5 weeks off! In that time we've been to Carters Beach, Motueka, Hokitika, Golden Bay and now we're back to Carters Beach. We're certainly making use of our caravan.

So we milked the cows this morning and did a few other jobs on the farm, packed up and headed to the West Coast and the beach. For a final few days of R and R.

We went for a walk along the beach this evening. It was amazing to see lots of people doing the same thing, others swimming, riding horses and quad bikes. It was a hive of activity. And as the sun started going down, photographers came down to the beach to do the exact thing I was doing. Taking photos of the sun setting. A great way to finish the day.
