Anyone for Cricket?

Or maybe another insect takes your fancy?
I have another photo of this lady giving me a beautiful smile, but I like this far away gaze. A large bag of insects (cooked) costs 10 bahts - or around 25 pence (UK).
We are now in Trang, a city in the south west of Thailand, about 20 miles from the  Andaman Sea.
We walked around a fascinating night market this evening, with hardly a foreign tourist to be seen. These insects aren't there just for show - they are a delicacy. Where we are staying, the lady showed us how they take the ant eggs out of the fruit in the trees, and add them to their soup.
We had another excellent meal this evening. and spent the grand total of 260 Baht - about £6.50 - and that included a large beer!
We managed to almost get lost on our walk back to our hotel - but that's a long story!
