Fishing

Rachel and Heidi came over after lunch so we had a breath of fresh air by the river in Ilkley late afternoon.  

Heidi has a new lens so you can imagine our joy at my sister spotting this kingfisher flying back up to its perch in the low light.  I've never managed to get this close to one, they've always been a blue flash flying down a river so this was a very special moment.  He was still there as we walked away.

We've enjoyed an evening of chatting, sharing a curry and watching Room.
