The Lozarithm Lens

By Lozarithm

Dreich (Sunday 21st January 2018)

I hoped the incessant rain might ease up and went out after lunch as I needed some things in Devizes and Melksham. It didn't, and I sat in the car on Bolland's Hill drinking a Waitrose cappuccino, overlooking the canal at Seend Top Lock.

I had a full-frame lens I wanted to try out but this, the only picture of the day, was taken on an 18-55 kit lens. Attempts to cheer up the gloom of the shot have not worked!

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Jackie Wilson - The Who Who Song (recorded July 1967, Chicago IL)
My pick from this week's Cerys Matthews show is this new-to-me B-side produced by Carl Davis and arranged by ex-Motown soundman Sonny Sanders. In fact, it is a Motown record in all but label as the band are the Funk Brothers and the chorus are members of the Andantes, all moonlighting and keeping under Berry Gordy's radar..
