Storm remnants

This past week we had huge waves for several days at the Oregon coast. We did not make it there then, but went for a drive today to see the aftermath. The mouth of the Columbia river was still roiling with waves, all the way to the embankment, leaving no beach to walk on. Trees had been uprooted, and the whole beach "rearranged". We did a little of our customary beach clean-up, but could hardly step to the beach. It was sunny at first, then a rain cloud rolled in - the main blip.
The extras show John wrestling with a rope in his clean up efforts; the ocean waves washing over the jetty, and sunset colors near the Astoria-Megler Bridge. Invigorating day!
