What dreadful weather today. Like most of the rest of the country it rained, snowed, sleeted and all things in between. We cleaned and shopped in the morning, went for a cold wet walk after lunch and partly filled in an Attendance Allowance form in the afternoon.

If you’ve ever had to complete one of those, you’ll know what it’s like. If not, then that pleasure still awaits you. When we applied for my parents we had someone from social services to help. Not now, we did it all ourselves and the level of detail was crazy and some of the questions very unclear requiring information we’d already give to be again. One thing is for certain, not many people trying to claim the Allowance could fill the form in unaided.

Brightness was restored in the evening when we FaceTimed Chris, De’Shaun and Landon in California and presented the subject for today’s blip. He’s 3 months and a week old now. And don’t they change quickly!
