This must be the place

First gig of this years Celtic Connections festival for me.

Trip down memory lane seeing Shawn Colvin who I first saw in Glasgow's King Tut's many many years ago. 

This time she was touring the 20th Anniversary of her fourth album, A Few Small Repairs.

As before, a fantastic mix of clever lyrics and melodies, painful honesty, wit and wisdom. All mixed together with a gorgeous voice and a band that really knew their stuff.

She charmingly had forgotten some of the old songs, took a while to get into the swing. I know the feeling.
