Another long, long day at work. Some software bugs are like the flu - you think you’re over it and then it comes back again and whacks you over the head.

Long chat this evening with the vet. Tests have gone to America - the specialist carried the samples there himself! There’s a possibility that she has an extremely rare fungal infection of the gut - it’s so rare over here that it’s almost utterly unknown.  But it’s more common in America (no idea why). So we're back in a waiting game.  If this comes up negative then we're back at an extreme case of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).  Not that she cares - she's got her blue tennis ball ;)
