Pinning a hairspring

People sometimes think I am a patient person as my job requires it.  I nearly lost my patience today trying to pin this hairspring.  I had to file a pin to the diameter of a few hairsbreadth and it took me more than an hour and several attempts.  The pins broke or flipped out of the tweezers never to be seen again but eventually I managed it.
