Leucadendrons against the sky

This leucadendron bush was ‘rescued’ when my daughter & son-in-law helped clear the bottom part of my property at Christmas time. It’s coming away wonderfully well now.

It’s been another hot summer day for us. And they’re forecasting even hotter days for next week! I did manage to get more weedeating done though, before the heat cranked up too much. That machine is proving to be invaluable.
