Rabbie Burns' Birthday!

It's his birthday today (born 1759).  He wrote the words to this song, and I can remember singing it in Primary School with such vigour and vitality  -  I wonder if the children still sing it today!  See my blip of my visit to his home!  If you're interested you can see the history to this song HERE!  Burns Supper is traditionally held tonight to celebrate his birthday  -  I've never been to one  -  not keen on Haggis anyway  -  don't mind a tipple now and again though:-)  Have a nice day!  PS I added the Waxing Moon as an Extra at 16.00 hrs.
