Another little trooper

Doing her first steps on the preparation path for moving to Germany. Yesterday I got from Amazon a giant transport crate (48” length) , but it arrived broken. Amazon arranged the return service by UPS right away and so I had to wait for UPS most of today for the crate to be picked up. Maggie had given that very comfy crate not one sniff or friendly look, so my expectations of her accepting a crate were very low. We don’t know what life conditions she had during the first 4 or 5 years of her life, only knowing that she was in a puppy mill and came to us rather traumatized by slippery floors and little enclosed spaces like a bathroom. So we expected a difficult training ahead of us.
Well, by 4 o’clock the first crate was picked up, I headed out to buy another , slightly smaller crate for her for half the money. It came with a very plush new pillow. So look who is snuggling in her new bed?
She loves it even if it is a bit on the small side. This will be her bed for 2 weeks and then comes the next step: we will have to put the top on the crate and see whether she will still go in. But at the moment I am quite excited:-)
