October Challenge - Captain Scarlet - Sabotage

Day 17 of the October daily challenge - Captain Scarlet

Captain Scarlet (or Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons to give it its full title) first came out in 1967/8 and was set 100 years into the future. It also came out at a time when I (thought I) was getting too old for a puppet series, so having been a Thunderbirds fan I never really took to this series.

This was another Gerry and Sylvia Anderson series using Supermarionation which was a technique that allowed them to remotely control the mouth movements by using an electrical solenoid and synchronise this to an audio track to produce mouth movements that were a little more lifelike.

A common theme through many of the Anderson's productions was the triumph of good over evil, so here the evil blipper me is sabotaging the puppet HeHeHe (he says in an evil voice). For some reason the Mysterons never thought of doing this.
