We got water out of the sky all through the night.

I don't know what you English speaking people call the sound of raindrops hitting the windows and ledges, but that sound kept me up for most of the night. But it was great to get some serious amounts of water for the province and most of the land - I think.

This shot I took on our morning walk with the dogs. There was a nice pause on rain. After our walk we got some more water. Out of those very clouds.

I got another nice shot today. It's here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BefRVYmBJGd/?taken-by=heidihhfin

In less than half an hour we'll get to follow the Finnish Presidential Election vote counting night. The polls close at 20pm Finland time and that's when they publish the votes given in advance. Votes given in advance will be counted during the election day. (Voting in advance is allowed, so that everyone has a chance to vote. There's voting even in hospitals and prisons.) Every Finnish citizen who is at least 18 on the day of the election gets to vote. No matter where you live.

The current president is quite strong candidate for a second term. If someone gets over 50% of the votes on the first round, the government will save 10 million euros. So I'm hoping for quick result, even if I did not vote thinking about that necessarily. Plus it's a real drag to drive down to Torrevieja to vote again ;-) (Actually we are very lucky to get to vote so close to us in Spain.)
