A downey a day

There were 3 downey's out there today , which was impressive as there were hardly any birds at the feeders today given the warm temps. It was over 45 degrees this afternoon. Almost warm enough to stay out without a coat. I am  hoping the temps drop back down to normal so I don't lose anymore bushes. The crazy weather patterns due to climate change threaten the lives of a lot of trees and birds that depend on the cold weather to keep their food supplies from rotting or to sprout seeds that need to be frozen first.
