After a bit of housework, I visited Bill and Jean; Jean is much recovered after such a long time in hospital, and is very glad to be home. They seem to be coping and they have carers for 6 weeks to see how things go. Afterwards I walked on to South Hill Park, and met Selena there for coffee and cake. Sadly the weather turned to rain so we couldn't walk around the grounds. We called in at Homebase on the way home.
I have arranged for the council to remove some big items from Dad's tomorrow, so when Harry finished work, I need his muscle power to help get the old mattress and fridge freezer outside ready for collection tomorrow.
