A walk by the Thames

Up so early this morning so Jacquie could give me a lift to her work which is off the Jamaica Rd Bermondsey. I worked at the same school in 1983 but although the school has the same name it is a different building! I walked by the Thames to Tower Bridge through St Saviours dock. I noticed the sun had come out and it made the bridge look golden. I walked all the way to Waterloo Bridge, it was lovely but so noisy! I got to Euston in good time, had a coffee and went out for my train and saw it was being prepared then it suddenly changed to cancelled! There was a problem in the Crewe area and trains were delayed or cancelled. I ran to get the Manchester train so did eventually get home after having a couple of long waits.
