External Combustion

First off, thank you to everyone for the comments on my blip yesterday, all much appreciated.

For mono Monday I have chosen this single cylinder steam engine which Gill's father made years ago, possibly as a demonstration piece at school. He taught metal and woodwork and after retiring built a 16mm scale railway around the garden, with steam trains he built from plans.

This is a mobile phone image as I don't have a way of transferring camera images to the tablet.
I'll blip one of the engines at some point, Gill has one and our nephew the other.
