Is it dark enough?

I have been waiting for it to get dark enough to take this in my garage cubby hole the idea being that the stylus would sparkle but after a long day it didn't sparkle like I thought and I am ready for bed. I will try this again sometime with different focus because I am sure the sparkle should be the focal point.

We got up in the dark and would you believe we have been in Wellington all day. It would have been exciting if we were seeing the sights or visiting family and friends but instead it was a consultation for Trev with a heart specialist.

Paid for by the Nelson Hospital Board they made the bookings and we had to be at the airport at 7am and didn't get home till nearly 12 hours later. We can't complain about any of the services, they were brilliant from Air NZ having wheelchairs at each end and sorting seats etc, to the Corporate Car man, the specialists and hospital staff, to the volunteers who man the Wellington Hospital help desk. We hadn't been to the "new" hospital. Our last experience was 15 years ago and it was very grotty. Now it is all new and we only saw the main reception area and some rooms to one side plus a courtyard and cafe.

We have to wait for a decision on whether Trev gets the operation but we are happy with the procedure and reasoning. Fingers crossed it does happen.

We had quite a lot of time to fill in and it wasn't too hot so we walked to where Trev lived with his brother about 50 years ago. Before I knew him. The house still there. We walked the other way to the Basin Reserve and saw all sorts.A trip down memory lane. Then we sat and people watched as well as had a coffee or two and some eats. Oh, there was  a piano near the cafe and several people played off and on during the day as well as  a guitarist. A very elderly gentleman, dressed in a suit and tie with very shiny shoes came and sat and fell asleep and that's all he had come for.

Good to be home and grateful it has happened.
