Sceptical Tanks

After much lifting of concrete lids and running of water the septic tank situation is clearer and really not bad. I even managed to unbung a rainwater drainage pipe with a foot-long plug of ivy roots in it.

One or two areas remain unclear but maybe sleeping dogs are best left to lie.

More of that enchanting fog from above this morning. Then a spring-like day with increasing birdsong that gave way to a cold northerly tramontana wind and an overcast sky.

I was really tired by the end of my explorations with pick and shovel.
