Who knew....

....that a squirrel could be motionless for so long, with it's eyes on the prize! 
I threw out peanuts for the squirrels this morning, and within a couple of minutes this squirrel arrived, but before it could grab a peanut, one of my neighbors came along, walking her dog toward our house........a moment of indecision on the squirrels part....do I grab a peanut,  or run for safety?? Safety won; it ran up the tree as the dog was barking at it, but after that the squirrel completely ignored the dog, standing motionless in the tree, waiting for the dog to move along. Once the coast was clear, down it came, put 2 peanuts in it's mouth, and off it went.  :))
