Above And Beyond...

Keurboomstrand

A couple of days ago we pulled up at Keurboomstrand Lagoon, just down the hill from Plettenberg Bay (South Africa) to admire the scenery, and in doing so I started chatting to an older French woman, now resident locally, who was sat enjoying a cigarette. It was like talking to a female version of Arsene Wenger (Arsenal Manager) with her accent. She explained you could walk across the lagoon at low tide to the sand bank.

Today low tide was at 10.30am, and we were there to make the most of it. The views and scenery are just amazing. So relaxing. My blipfoto shows the tide right out leaving a boat ditched on the sand as a couple walk past.

After a couple of hours walking along the sandbank and sea, we drove back to our hotel to spend the afternoon relaxing around the pool before meeting up with a couple we friended in Cape Town for evening meal in Plettenberg.
