Curious Fantail

I just had to blip this photo of a juvenile fantail which kept coming in through an open glass sliding door. To discourage it, I closed the sliding door but pushed open a side window a little way as it was still quite warm.

The young fantail  came back and finding the door closed, he sat on the outside of the pushed out window with his little feathery chest pressed hard against the glass. I thought he would fly off as soon as I moved but those eyes followed me around for about 10 minutes before he tired of it and flew off.

Unfortunately the previous day's cyclone had blown in from that side and the glass was filthy from the wind and rain hitting it.
