Get your kicks...

286 miles today and the route was nothing if not scenic. We topped out at 1,186 metres. We passed a gritter/plough but saw snow only on the mountain tops, not on the road.

The distance was far enough to provide significant change in the weather. Here, close to Salamanca, it is only 7°C. What is this strange grey blanket that covers the sky? and this odd wet stuff on the windows?

*sigh*

Tomorrow we do a very similar distance and then we have an equal length third leg to cover. Hope the driver holds up and that the snow stays away.

Today's photos were all through-the-windscreen snaps. This is one of them.
