Comings and goings

Earlier this week we watched a large German Aida cruise ship negotiate a path into Funchal harbour. Today we watched a British P&O cruise liner leaving the island. You can see the pilot's boat approaching the ship and (inset) ready to receive the pilot from the door in the side of the huge ship.

Still not red hot today, but very pleasant and I did go out barefoot in my sandals. Ooh, missis!
