Flemish waffles

I sent friend in Lille a book about Edinburgh instead of the usual Scottish Calendar and in return we received a box of these La Gaufres du Pays Flamand.  Along with some homemade (wal)nut liqueur .  Note the bottle being recycled from a previous visit to us.

All rather pleasant and it has been keeping me going as we move into the final clear up stages.

Today, along with visit to hospital, I defrosted the freezer and moved it into our main hall!

More visits to the tip - where I discovered that tins of liquid paint cannot be left for landfill:  all of mine are so old that they are solid which apparently does allow them be dumped.
