Help the Aged

This morning I was at the Cumberland Day Centre in Dumfries. It's used primarily (but not exclusively) by older people. I couldn't help musing that a lot of these leaflets at the entrance, although on the face of it quite helpful, were based on fear - of fire, crime, loneliness. Wouldn't it be good if getting older was something we could enjoy, rather than be afraid of?
