A sea of Winter Snowdrops...

Anglesey Abbey, nr Cambridge

“The gardens are awakening as thousands of snowdrops burst into flower to herald the arrival of spring. Anglesey Abbey has one of the finest snowdrops collection in the country with over 300 varieties of the delicate white flowers, including 20 varieties that have been discovered at Anglesey Abbey.” National Trust

To Anglesey Abbey for a walk through the grounds, carpeted in beautiful, delicate Snowdrops of all shapes and sizes. After a warming cuppa, we headed back out into the cold to visit Lode Mill (see extra) and the house which is open this year for the first time during Winter.

Before heading home we popped over the border into Suffolk and to Newmarket where absolutely everything revolves around the world of horse racing, even the doormats! (see extra)

(Another backblip. Thank you so much for all your kind comments, stars and hearts over the past few days. Sorry not to have replied individually, but I will catch up with you all as soon as I can...)
